Dr. Paula Moyano received his JD degree at the Complutense University of Madrid in 2013. She has worked in the University of Massachusetts’ Students Legal Services Office, while living in Massachusetts in 2011. She received a Masters in Pedagogical Sciences in 2017. She specialized in neurotoxicology and legal sciences and received his PhD in Toxicology and legal medicine in 2016. She is a member of the Complutense University’s Research Team EcoBioTox. Dr. Moyano research focuses on the evaluation of the effects of environmental pollutants in the development of neurodegenerative diseases. Professor Ewa L Gregoraszczuk is specialized in reproductive toxicology as well as hormone dependent cancer. She has graduated from Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. From 1998 full professor of endocrinology, initiator and Head of Department of Physiology and Toxicology of Reproduction. She has authored 183 peer-reviewed articles in leading journals such as Reproductive Toxicology, Toxicology, Toxicology Letters, Chemosphere, Human and Experimental Toxicology, Xenobiotica, Environmental Toxicology and Pharmacology, Journal of Applied Toxicology, Toxicology and Industrial Health, Environment International, Journal of Environmental Science and Health. Dr Rana Jaffer is an Emergency Medicine Consultant, working at Hamad Medical Corporation in Doha, Qatar. She has completed her medical school from Aden University, Yemen, followed by residency in Emergency Medicine from Arab Board of Medical Specialties. She is a Member of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine, UK. Further, she has completed Post Graduate Diploma in Toxicology from Cardiff University, UK. She is an active member of the Toxicology Team at her hospital besides being a faculty member at Emergency Medicine Residency Teaching program at Hamad Hospital and at Qatar University. Her professional focus has always been to teach Emergency Medicine and Toxicology to residency students and improve their skills for better patient care. She has special interest in talking about Khat abuse (Catha Edulis) which is a common practice in the middle-east and North Africa. She thinks a conference is a good media for sharing knowledge and cultures from different parts of the world

Dr. Javier Del Pino is Associate Professor at the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, University Complutense of Madrid, Spain from 2016. He received his PharmD degree at the University Complutense University of Madrid in 2004. He has two Masters in Sciences 2009 and 2010. He worked in Institute of Health Carlos III in the National Center of Environmental Health. From 2010 to 2012 he was an Associated Researcher at University of Massachusetts (UMASS) working in Sandra Petersen´s Lab in a National Institute of Health (NIH) project on developmental effects of TCDD endocrine disruptor on sexual differentiation. He specialized in neurotoxicology and neurodevelopmental toxicology and received his PhD in Toxicology in 2009. He is a member and Manager of the Complutense University’s Research Team EcoBioTox. He is co-author of several publications on toxicology and environmental journals and participated as a co-author of toxicology Book´s chapters.

Dr. Del Pino research focuses on the evaluation of the effects of environmental pollutants in the development of neurodegenerative diseases. His area of expertise are neurotoxicology, citotoxicity and toxicogenomics, since his research deepens into the toxic effects of metals and biocides that induce cognitive disorders and other neurodegenerative processes both at cellular and tissue level, studying the molecular mechanisms involved in these effects. He takes a special interest of the genomic toxic effects that metals and biocides produce and the levels from which these effects are produced, all related to safety evaluation of these compounds.

Simona Clichici is associate professor at the Department of Physiology, University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Iuliu Haţieganu”, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She is the coordinator of the In Vivo Research Laboratory at this Physiology Department. She has practical experience and many published papers concerning in vivo experimental design of different pathological conditions, oxidative stress and cytotoxicity assessment, study of the nanomaterials effects on living organisms, protective effects of different natural compounds, photodynamic therapy and carcinogenesis. She was the coordinator of 2 national grants regarding toxicological studies and she is the author/co-author of 45 ISI papers, all of them concerning experimental and toxicological studies on lab animals.

Simona Clichici’s mainly focuses her research work upon In Vivo technologies. She has also published many papers concerning in vivo experimental design of different pathological conditions, oxidative stress and cytotoxicity assessment, study of the nanomaterials effects on living organisms, protective effects of different natural compounds, photodynamic therapy and carcinogenesis.

Professor Tsatsakis born in June 1957 is a Greek toxicologist and the first to notice the extraordinary power of combined effects at low doses in long-term of exposures in our everyday life and to set up an ambitious project with which intends to provide multi-answers related to current concerns about mixtures of chemicals from many different sources at doses around or well below the regulatory limits. His hypothesis of an increase cumulative risk from simultaneous exposure of chemicals around considered safe levels could be the starting point for passing from single-compound risk assessment to the era of cumulative risk assessment. Aristides Tsatsakis is the Director of the Department of Toxicology and Forensic Sciences of the Medical School at the University of Crete and the University Hospital of Heraklion. He is teaching the toxicology course for medical students for 30 years and specialization toxicology topics for postgraduate programs in few universities and supervised numerous PhDs. Dr Tsatsakis received his PhD in Chemistry from Mendeleev University in Moscow 1986 and defended the title of Doctor of Science in Biology in University of Friendship of Nations in Moscow 2004. Aristides Tsatsakis is Emeritus Professor for the Erisman Russian Federal Institute of Hygiene and Toxicology in Moscow (2014) and Honorary Doctor of the Mendeleev Moscow University in Russia (2016). In 2016 was elected Foreign Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Russia. Aristides Tsatsakis has written over 400 peer reviewed publications in prestigious journals, is holder of several patents and has given numerous lecturers as keynote and plenary speaker in international congresses. Aristides Tsatsakis has coordinated as principal investigator over 40 scientific research and technology national, EU and international projects and established worldwide collaborations. Dr Tsatsakis is Editor of Food Chemical Toxicology (FCT, Elsevier), Editor in Chief of Toxicology Reports, Guest Editor of four special issues in Toxicology Letters (2), Toxicology and FCT journals, Guest editor of the RIFM-FCT issue, Associate Editor and member of the Editorial Boards in several other ISI indexed journals, was the EiC of the TOFSJ. Aristides Tsatsakis was the President (2014-2016) of the Federation of European Toxicologists and European Societies of Toxicology (EUROTOX) now past President and is the President of the Hellenic Society of Toxicology (2002-2016). He is the Chairman of the Hellenic ERT-HST national Registry and member of several Scientific Academies and Societies. Aristides Tsatsakis has cooperated with key national and international organizations such as WHO-IPCS, National Drug Authority and he has received the Inter Res Prom Council, IRPC 200, Eminent scientist Gold Award. Aristides Tsatsakis has organized as president several international Congresses in the field of toxicology and forensic science among them the EUROTOX2008 in Rhodes Greece. He is also the president of the international BIONANOTOX conferences (2009 to 2017). Aristides Tsatsakis is the inspirator and founder and current president of the high- tech knowledge and research university spin-off Company ToxPlus S.A. His main believe is that the science of toxicology is a basic necessity for living and well-being and should be strengthened as an academic discipline as it represents the necessity in protecting the health of consumers, workers, people and the environment. When acting as President of the Federation of European Toxicologists and European Societies of Toxicology (EUROTOX) took major steps for the advancement of the harmonisation process and for the registration of toxicologists in Europe and worldwide in specialisation issues.

"Dr. K.Mulkijanyan is a Member of the TSMU Representative Council, Academic Council of the Institute of Pharmacochemistry and Dissertation Board at TSMU Faculty of Pharmacy. He is also a member of TSMU Animal Welfare and Use Monitoring Committee. He obtained his Master's degree in Biochemistry in 1981, and defended PhD thesis in Pharmacy in 2005. Since 1983 his research interests are linked with pharmacological screening for anti-inflammatory, ulcer preventive and wound healing drugs; analysis of SAR and prediction of bioactivity of natural, modified and synthesized compounds. In 1986-1990 K.Mulkijanyan worked in the multidisciplinary research team on design and implementation of computer-aided devices for pharmacological and physiological experiments. During 1996-2006 he led courses in pharmacology, pharmacotherapy and pharmacokinetics at Tbilisi State and Georgian Technical Universities; since 2015 is a full Professor at the Caucasus International University Faculty of Medicine, leading courses in pharmacology and pharmacotherapy for medical students, pharmacists and dentists. Dr. Mulkijanyan is also an expert in intellectual property protection and technology commercialization. Dr. K.Mulkijanyan was a manager/ key investigator of fundamental and applied research projects funded by CRDF Global/GRDF (2007-2014), STCU (2011), GNSF/SRSNF (2009-2016). As Organizing Committee Member, he arranged several international congresses and conferences on pharmacology and pharmacy. Dr. Vysetti Balaram (DOB 1st June, 1951) received M.Sc. (1974) and Ph.D. degrees (1979) in Chemistry from the Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. Dr. Balaram is a former CSIR - Emeritus Scientist, Chief Scientist & Head, Geochemistry Division, CSIR - National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI), Hyderabad- 500 007, India. His research areas include trace element geochemistry, mineral exploration, spectroscopy, environmental chemistry and toxicology. He is an expert of ICP-mass spectroscopy (quadrupole, magnetic sector & time-of-flight) and their applications in different areas of earth, environmental and pharmaceutical sciences. He has ~ 300 publications in international peer-reviewed journals, with ~2400 citations (h-index 25 & i10-index 64) and guided 5 PhD students, few postdoctoral and hundreds of PG students from different universities across the country. He is also recipient of several prestigious national and international awards such as "National Geoscience Award" from Government of India, New Delhi (2000), "S. Narayanaswamy Award" from Geological Society of India, Bangalore (2010); "Eminent Mass Spectrometrists Award" from Indian Society of Mass Spectrometry, Mumbai (2006); "Mantripragada Gold Medal” from Indian Society of Applied Geochemists, Hyderabad (2006) and Lifetime Achievement Awards for Excellence in Science and Technology from ISAS-Kerala (2015) and Bundelkhand University, Jhansi, UP (2016) . He is a Post Graduate (MD) in Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, degree obtained from the prestigious and one of the oldest institutions of Tamil Nadu, Madras Medical College. He has over 25 years of experience in the field and has dealt with a number of important cases which has been deputed to him by the high court of madras. He holds many top positions in the various societies of forensic medicine and toxicology in India, one of them being the President of Medico Legal Society of Tamil Nadu. He has giving a number of talks both in National and International forums and also published number of papers related to the field. He has also guided number of students in their thesis work, one of them being a Ph.D. student who is at present undertaking a study on the methodology of treatment of organophosphorus poisoning cases using physiologically based pharmacokinetic model as a new tool. Neelam Shrivastava had completed MBBS in 1988 from Indore University India and LLB from Bhopal University in 1999. She has worked in Public Health Department as Assistance Surgeon till 1996 and since last 18 years she is working as a Medical Officer in Medico Legal Institute, Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, India. There, she has done more than 5000 autopsies of different nature and expert opinions. She has also presented two international papers i.e. one in Istanbul, Turkey and another one in Goa, India.
