Biography

Professor Ewa L Gregoraszczuk is specialized in reproductive toxicology as well as hormone dependent cancer. She has graduated from Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. From 1998 full professor of endocrinology, initiator and Head of Department of Physiology and Toxicology of Reproduction. She has authored 183 peer-reviewed articles in leading journals such as Reproductive Toxicology, Toxicology, Toxicology Letters, Chemosphere, Human and Experimental Toxicology, Xenobiotica, Environmental Toxicology and Pharmacology, Journal of Applied Toxicology, Toxicology and Industrial Health, Environment International, Journal of Environmental Science and Health. Member of Polish Endocrinology Society, International Society of Endocrinology (ISE), The New York Academy of Sciences, The European Tissue Culture Society. Promotor 60 MD, 16 PhD and 3 habilitation She has cooperation with several international group of sciences including Food Science and Nutrition, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Rehovot, Israel, Department of Veterinary Biosciences, Univeristy of Illinois, at Urbana-Champaign, USA, Graduate Center for Toxicology, Univeristy of Kentucky, at Lexington, USA, Institute of Public Health in Ostrava, National Reference Laboratory for Analysis of POPs Ministry of Health CR, Czech Republic. Was invited as a reviewer in Reproductive Toxicology, Toxicology, Toxicology Letters, Chemosphere, Human and Experimental Toxicology, Xenobiotica, Environmental Toxicology and Pharmacology, Journal of Applied Toxicology, Drug and Chemical Toxicology, Food and Chemical Toxicology, Xenobiotica, Toxicological Sciences and other.

Research Interest

The effects of different single and mixture of endocrine compounds in hormone dependent tissue such as: ovary, placenta. Cancerogenic action of endocrine disruptors in breast and ovarian tissue.
