Biography
Simona Clichici is associate professor at the Department of Physiology, University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Iuliu HaÅ£ieganuâ€, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She is the coordinator of the In Vivo Research Laboratory at this Physiology Department. She has practical experience and many published papers concerning in vivo experimental design of different pathological conditions, oxidative stress and cytotoxicity assessment, study of the nanomaterials effects on living organisms, protective effects of different natural compounds, photodynamic therapy and carcinogenesis. She was the coordinator of 2 national grants regarding toxicological studies and she is the author/co-author of 45 ISI papers, all of them concerning experimental and toxicological studies on lab animals.
Research Interest
Simona Clichici’s mainly focuses her research work upon In Vivo technologies. She has also published many papers concerning in vivo experimental design of different pathological conditions, oxidative stress and cytotoxicity assessment, study of the nanomaterials effects on living organisms, protective effects of different natural compounds, photodynamic therapy and carcinogenesis.
